    PSC tuloy ang ayuda sa ‘Indigenous Peoples Games’

    SA kabila ng nararanasang lockdown dulot nang patuloy na pakikipaglaban ng pamahalaan sa pandemya, tuloy ang pagbibigay suporta ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) sa ‘Indigenous Peoples Games (IPG) upang maisulong ang kaunlaran ng mga tradisyunal na sports at mapanatili
    ang kalinagan sa kaisipan ng Pinoy sa kultura at lmatandang laro.

    Isasagawa ng PSC, sa pangangasiwa ni Commissioner Charles Maxey ang 2021 Indigenous Sports and Games Webinar Series: Preserving and Promoting the Rich Cultural Heritage of our Ancestors, bilang bahagi ng pandiriwang ng Indigenous Peoples Month.

    Nakatakda ang webinar series sa Oktubre 7, 21, 28, at Nobyembre 5 ganap na 1:00 ng hapon sa pamamagitan ng Zoom video conferencing platform.

    Pagppapatuloy lamang ang apat na sessions sa isinagawang Webinar program nitong Hunyo 24.

    Kabuuang 1,000 ang nakapagpatala ng paglahok sa four-part webinar series.

    “Four distinguished resource speakers, representing different government agencies, and associations, were invited to give talks on various topics concerning the rich culture of the Indigenous Peoples,” pahayag ni Maxey, PSC Oversight Commissioner for Indigenous Peoples Games (IPG) program.

    “Bawal pa ang face-to-face, but we have to continue supporting the program. Sariling atin ito na hindi dapat makalimutan ng kabataang Pinoy lalo sa panahon ng teknolohiya natin,” sambit ni Maxey.

    Personal na pamumunuan ni Maxey ang koordinasyon sa iba’t ibang tribo sa Saranggani.
    Katuwang ng PSC sa programa ang National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), sa pagtataguyod ng Pocari Sweat.
