    Ang pinakahihintay na ICTSI-Philippine  Athletics Championships ay tatakbo na ngayon Miyerkoles hanggang Linggo na gaganapin sa Philsports Track and Field Stadium na dating Ultra sa Pasig City.

    Ang dating Philippine National Open na punong abala ang Philippine  Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA) ay ipaparada ang pinaka mahusay na homegrown at Fil-foreign athletes na mapapalaban sa pambato ng Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, New Zealand at United States na sanctioned ng World Athletics at qualifying points para sa Paris Olympics sa taong ito.

    Lahat ay naka tutok kay Filipino Olympic hopefuls Lauren Hoffman na kamakailan ay may tangan na bagong Philippine record sa Women’s 100-meter at umaasa na makapasok sa Paris meet.

    Sa five-day event ay matutunghayan din sina Asian champion Robyn Brown, at Southeast Asian Games gold medalists Eric Cray, Janry Ubas, Kristina Knott at Spain-based full-blooded Filipino John Cabang Tolentino.
    Hinati ang event sa tatlong kategorya,ang Elite/Open Men and Women -20 years old and above (athletes born in the year 2004 and below), U20-Boys and Girls (athletes born in the years 2006 and 2005) at U-18 Boys and Girls (athletes born in the years 2007 and 2011).
