    Breaking News : Covid - 19

    More than 462 people have contracted the virus in the Philippines, 33 have died. More than anywhere else but China and Italy. More than 470 people have died of the disease in the country, and President Duterte has approved National Emergency Nationwide.
     
    Laguna has now two cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
     
    As of Saturday, the DOH said it had conducted 1,399 tests to patients. Of the 307 confirmed cases, 19 have died while 13 have recovered from the virus.
     
    President Rodrigo Duterte declared a state of calamity in the Philippines as cases of COVID-19 in the country continued to rise. The entire Luzon is on lockdown from March 17 to April 12. - Robert Louis Pangilinan
