De La Salle University earned its second win to close out the first round of the UAAP Season 86 Women's Basketball Tournament, blasting luckless University of the East, 80-62, on Saturday at the Adamson University Gym.

The Lady Archers snapped a two-game skid and elevated their record to 2-5 for seventh place, tied with Far Eastern University, in the standings.
