‘I’m Stronger, Faster, Tougher’ – Dmitry Menshikov Plans To Breeze Through Sinsamut And Secure A World Title Shot
While he’s not looking past Sinsamut Klinmee at ONE Fight Night 22, Dmitry Menshikov is determined to take another shot at Regian “The Immortal” Eersel and the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title.
The Russian has already challenged Eersel once, suffering a disappointing first-round defeat in his promotional debut back in June 2023.
Despite that setback, Menshikov says his dominant two-fight run since then shows that he’s ready for a chance at redemption:
“I’m doing everything I can to fight for the title again. Two knockouts in two fights is proof of that.”
Of course, if he wants another date with “The Immortal,” Menshikov will first have to get past Sinsamut.
And in his mind, a victory over the Thai would seal the deal for another World Title opportunity:
“I think I’m already the #1 contender for the World Title, but a win over [Sinsamut] will be a 100 percent guarantee that I will fight for the belt again.”
