FRANCOIS MARIE MAGPILY JOINS STRONG NCFP WOMEN'S TOURNEY

AFTER topping the National Capital Region (NCR) Athletic  Meet 2018 Chess Tournament Secondary Girls division, Woman National Master (WNM) Francios Marie Magpily is vying for the unique women's chess team tournament.
" I would like to thank Atty. (Cliburn Anthony) Orbe for inviting me to play in this prestigious and unique women's chess team tournament," said the top player of  General Pio Del Pilar National High School Magpily, last year's Shell National Youth Actice Chess Championship top female performer and overall champion in the juniors division of the NCR leg of chess.
 
According to tournament organizer Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe, treasurer of the National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) headed by Chairman/President Rep. Prospero "Butch" Pichay Jr. and Secretary-General Rep. Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino Jr. that the Rage of Angels will be broadcasted live on the YouTube channel of the NCFP on March 10, 2018 at 10am.
 
"Women take center stage on March 10, 2018 as the National Chess Federation of the Philippines presents Rage of Angels, a blitz battle royale featuring eight of our strongest lady woodpushers. Watch WNM Karen Enriquez, WNM Francois Marie Magpily, and 6 others battle for chess supremacy over the chessboard." said Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe, is also the founding president of the newly-formed Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA).

Orbe's Angels will be anchored by Magpili, together with Woman National Master Jean Karen Enriquez, Christine Hernandez and April Joy Ramos with team manager is Atty. Orbe , while the Hermida's Angels will be anchored by Rowelyn Joy Acedo, Mariel Batulan, Jellie Ann Magro and Judie Ann Magro with team manager is Ronald "Ron Matehek" Hemilda, top gunner of Metro Pacific Hospitals in the MVP Olympics.-Marlon Bernardino-
