The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Rizal Chapter will conduct its annual fun run in the morning of July 15, 2018 in celebration of Disaster Consciousness Month at and around the Ultra Oval (Philippine Sports Commission) area in Pasig City.
Dubbed as the Great Rizal Run, this event is expected to draw the participation of at least eight thousand (8,000) runners competing in races covering distances of ten (10), five (5), and three (3) kilometers. The races will start and end at the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) ULTRA Oval.
All the proceeds from this event will be for the benefit of various Red Cross activities to be undertaken by the Rizal Chapter in disaster relief and prevention, rescue operations, blood services, first aid, and others, for the benefit of communities and individuals in need.
Interested runners may register at the various Red Cross branch offices located in Las Piñas, Makati, Mandaluyong, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasig, San Juan, Taguig, and Taytay, Rizal, or online at https://reg.goorahna.com/#/event/the-great-rizal-run-2018.
Students may avail of the special registration rate of only Php200.00 for the 3K run, while the regular registration fees for the 3K, 5K, and 10K runs are fixed at Php600.00, Php850.00, and Php1,100.00, respectively.
Participants will experience giant inflatables and other exciting games like booths to be set up at the ULTRA Oval and other exciting activities right after the runs.

This event is being conducted in partnership with the Philippine Sports Commission, Ortigas Center Association, Inc., Philippine Sports Commission, Pocari Sweat, Garmin, Burlington, Chroma, Cocoline, Visa Philippines, Universal Robina Corporation, and Pinoy Aspiring Runners (PAR).
